Description
Following the publication of its white paper, “Why are We Not Adapting” in March, the GlobalABC Adaptation Hub has undertaken a stakeholder-by-stakeholder approach to instigating adaptation action. The 10 stakeholder groups identified by GlobalABC include national governments, subnational governments, designers, finance/insurance industry, materials manufacturers, and others. Because some stakeholder groups are limited in their ability to take action by inaction or another barrier to progress by a different stakeholder group, it is important to focus on the actions that can unlock another action for that or a different stakeholder group AND which align with the Buildings Breakthrough and Declaration de Chaillot. Join this session to hear how three stakeholder groups propose unlocking action, provide your thoughts, and leave inspired to take action, because adaptation is everyone’s business and results require action from all of us.
