MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

Danish Energy Agency (DEA) is a part of the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities. The DEA is responsible for tasks linked to energy production, supply and consumption, as well as Danish efforts to reduce carbon emissions. The DEA is also responsible for supporting the economical optimisation of utilities that in addition to energy includes water, waste and telecommunication. Furthermore, the DEA has a division called Global Cooperation, which is cimplementing energy cooperation projects in 19 countries. Our focus is on decreasing CO2-emissions through green transition of energy systems.

ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS

The DEA is a part of the Danish Government which has a goal for Denmark to becoming climate neutral by 2050 and reducing its CO2 emissions by 70% (compared to 1990) in 2030.
