MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

The Green Building Council of Costa Rica (GBCCR) is a non-profit association that brings together public and private sectors through initiatives that strive to raise awareness and channel effective actions that contribute to the paradigmatic changes necessary for a greener building market in Costa Rica and Central American Region.

Some of our main activities include advocacy and lobbying through international vents that we organize independently and in collaboration with allies, guest speaking engagements, training in different green building certification systems, development and implementation of international projects (WRI, GEF), collaboration on international green building committees and task forces (WGBC Cities Climate Action Project, Better Places for People, etc), expertise content providers for different regional media outlets.
