Catalysed by the GlobalABC, the Programme for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (PEEB) supports the implementation of the GlobalABC roadmap “Towards low GHG and resilient buildings” and its goal to limit global warming to well below 2°C and moving towards the 1.5°C limit. - Transform the buildings sector by promoting sustainable building design and construction.
- Lower the energy demand in buildings in a cost-effective manner and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to a minimum level.

Mediterranean Climate Change Adaptation Awards
Editions of the “Mediterranean Climate Change Adaptation Awards” are organised by the French Agency for ecological transition (ADEME), with the support of its Mediterranean partners the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and Plan Bleu. The competition rewards exemplary and concrete actions to adapt to climate change in the Mediterranean.
Green Solutions Awards
Organized by Construction21, this contest is the concrete embodiment of all statements on ecological transition: it promotes already existing solutions, integrated in buildings, districts and infrastructures. Thanks to a worldwide communication plan, each participant – candidate, partner or jury member – will benefit from enhanced visibility among peer professionals and become a source of inspiration. In 2019, the contest generated 4 million of views at the international level. The 2021 edition highlighted exemplary solutions integrated into buildings, districts and infrastructures contributing to the fight against climate change - discover the winners!
Building Sense Now Global Award
Building Sense Now, is a global initiative to connect and activate like-minded individuals and design practices in Architecture, Engineering and Construction from across the world who believe that better design solutions are a crucial element to transform our cities and help create more resilient, sustainable and climate positive buildings. This award focuses on the people and their design process as well as the “philosophy and ethic” driver behind it rather than its final resolution in the built project. Building Sense Now is looking for disruptive thinking that demonstrates the potential to tackle big scale issues in a range of fields, including for example: buildings, urban renewal and transformation projects, urban systems, city operating and governance, urban ecology or human centered place making and well-being.
