MASS Design Group (MASS) is seeking candidates for the MASS Design 2022-2023 Fellowship. This fellowship aims to expand opportunities for aspiring changemakers in the design and architecture fields to deepen their understanding of a mission-driven design practice, and expand their capacity to address inequities in the built environment. Through a global fellowship network, participants will engage in meaningful peer learning and mentorship opportunities.
Over the course of one year, fellows will join project teams in one or several topically focused Labs in MASS’s Research & Development (R&D) Studio, as well as engineering and design teams advancing active MASS projects. An extensive onboarding and training curriculum will provide Fellows with an expanded introduction to MASS methodologies and projects. Fellows will participate in monthly cross-office discussions with all fellows, and weekly check-ins with fellows in their own office. Fellows are responsible for compiling quarterly reviews and professional development reflections throughout the year. Opportunity for travel as a fellow is dependent on project needs and program funding. This is a full-time position beginning in mid-July that requires proximity to the accepted office or Studio location. Opportunity for hire as a full-time MASS employee will be discussed at the end of the year-long fellowship position.
Prospective fellows are invited to apply to one or more of the following the R&D Lab areas. Applications must be submitted via SlideRoom by Monday, 13 June 2022 at 7:30pm EST.
