Technical Coordination Group Meeting

This event will take place onsite in Dresden after the 2025 GlobalABC Annual Assembly.

Location: CUBE Building - Einsteinstrasse 12,01069 Dresden, Germany 

On April 9, 2025, the GlobalABC’s Technical Coordination Group will meet to enhance collaboration among hubs and action groups, focusing on the Buildings Breakthrough. The agenda includes a recap of the Assembly, an update on progress and targets, and discussions on aligning initiatives with the Buildings Breakthrough. Co-leads of the hubs and action groups will explore contributions to flagship products, i cluding the Global Status Report, and discuss potential joint events and advocacy for the upcoming COP. An information-sharing session will focus on improving coordination, increasing transparency, evaluating communication platforms, and identifying preferred methods for disseminating work.

Discussing which flagship products, aside from the Buildings Breakthrough, the hub/action groups would like to contribute to.

  • Global Status Report – Having reps of the hubs and action groups on the GSR Taskforce?
  • COP – Joint events/sessions and joint advocacy 
Information Sharing Session (20 mins)

A collaborative discussion focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of our coordination efforts, including:

  • Strategies for promoting better coordination between the hubs and action groups.
  • Ideas for increasing transparency of all hub activities to foster connections and collaboration.
  • Consideration of potential joint activities and events/sessions during the Conference of the Parties (COP).
  • Discussion on preferred frequency of meetings, including the possibility of bilateral meetings.
  • Evaluation of the current common platform (Google Doc) for co-leads; is it effective or should we explore alternatives?
  • What method are you most comfortable with disseminate the work being done?
