At COP30 in Belém, GlobalABC is advancing climate action for the buildings and construction sector through strategic dialogue, high-level partnerships and collaborative events. As the global advocate for the buildings sector in climate action, we champion its critical role at international forums—particularly at COPs. This year, we're hosting the Buildings and Cooling Pavilion alongside key diplomatic and technical sessions that bring together leaders, policymakers, and practitioners committed to transforming the building and construction sector.

The Buildings and Cooling Pavilion is a dedicated space for dialogue, innovation and collaboration throughout COP30, with more than 40 sessions across two weeks. Additional sessions at COP30 include the first Intergovernmental Council for Buildings and Climate (ICBC) Ministerial Meeting and sessions on critical topics such as national roadmaps, the Buildings Breakthrough, and sectoral transformation, alongside numerous side events led by members and partners throughout the conference.

GlobalABC is also hosting pre-COP and networking events to foster connections and collective ambition among leaders and advocates working towards a sustainable and resilient built environment.
