The next In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce will take place at the Uni­versity of Inns­bruck, Aus­tria, on 2 - 3 April 2027. 

In line with this year's con­fer­en­ce motto "En­ergy ef­fi­ciency unites" the con­fer­en­ce em­phas­ises that high en­ergy ef­fi­ciency is cru­cial for a suc­cess­ful, so­cially equit­able en­ergy trans­ition that unites people in­stead of di­vid­ing them.

Look for­ward to in­spir­ing pro­ject present­a­tions, stim­u­lat­ing sci­en­tif­ic lec­tures and net­work­ing in a highly mo­tiv­at­ing, in­ter­na­tion­al at­mo­sphere!

About the conference 

The In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce brings to­geth­er renowned ex­perts and in­nov­at­ors from all over the world who strive to ad­vance en­ergy ef­fi­ciency in the build­ing sec­tor. The con­fer­en­ce of­fers a wide range of net­work­ing op­por­tun­it­ies, while the in­sight­ful lec­tures, in­ter­act­ive work­shops and in­spir­ing build­ing tours en­able the con­fer­en­ce par­ti­cipants to share their ex­per­i­en­ces and to learn from each oth­er. 

Become a speaker at the conference 

There is an opportunity for the public, researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to participate in the conference by submitting proposals through the open Call for Papers process. Applicants can submit an abstract outlining their proposed presentation, select the relevant thematic area, and provide supporting information, including speaker details and a short biography. Submissions are reviewed by the conference’s Advisory Board, with selected contributors invited to present their work and contribute to the conference proceedings. The deadline is 31 August 2026.
