This is one of the Hubs and Action Groups Breakout Sessions, taking place on Day 2 of 2025 GlobalABC Annual Assembly. Registration link will be shared soon.
Venue: Room 1, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum, Dresden, Germany
Despite the growing impacts of climate change and the identification of effective adaptation solutions, progress in the buildings and construction sector remains insufficient. In response, the Adaptation Hub published the white paper "Why Are We Still Not Adapting?" in 2024, uncovering key barriers to action and driving critical discussions at COP28 and the inaugural Buildings and Climate Global Forum.
Now, we are focused on turning commitments into concrete steps. This collaborative workshop will help build tailored adaptation pathways for the 10 key stakeholder groups across the value chain, fostering collaboration and addressing cross-sectoral barriers to resilience. Through engaging group activities, participants will identify immediate actions, required support, and the cascading benefits of adaptation across the sector.
Join our workshop to:
- Engage in dynamic group activities that explore actionable strategies for your
stakeholder group. - Contribute to shaping a resilient future for the built environment by identifying and
overcoming barriers to adaptation. - Collaborate with peers to ensure that the sector moves forward cohesively, with every
stakeholder playing a pivotal role.
