Bold on Buildings: How Climate Action Roadmaps are inspiring building-sector ambition in NDCs
| 09:00-10:00 CET

This is one of the sessions taking place on Day 2 of 2025 GlobalABC Annual Assembly. Livestreaming Link will be shared soon.

The session will inspire and engage attendees in a showcase of how Climate Action Roadmaps for Buildings and Construction are catalysing policy and industry ambition and unlocking greater ambition and clarity on buildings in NDCs. Aligning a diverse and fragmented community of stakeholders towards action and ambition to deliver low carbon, resilient buildings is a major challenge, exacerbated by political and economic uncertainty. National roadmaps have proven a powerful tool to overcome this problem. The session will bring diverse perspectives from countries that can showcase best practice on both development and implementation of roadmaps and embedding recommendations into national policy and NDCs. Interactive elements will draw out insights from the audience.

Read our latest guideline, designed to equip policymakers, planners, and practitioners with a comprehensive framework to integrate ambitious climate actions within the buildings and construction sectors of their NDCs, here.
