The 64th Sessions of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Subsidiary Bodies (SB64), also known as the June Climate Meetings 2026, will build on outcomes from previous climate negotiations and help drive progress on key issues ahead of the COP31 UN Climate Change Conference in Antalya, Türkiye, later in 2026. The meetings will take place in Bonn, Germany, from 8–18 June 2026.
The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction will advance discussions on resilient, net-zero, and decarbonised buildings, construction, energy demand and implementation on the road COP31. Through side events, roundtables and partner engagements, the GlobalABC will highlight how cliamte action in the buildings and construction sector must be integrated into NDCs, National Action Plans (NAPs), city action, finance, and delivery frameworks.
National delegates, civil society representatives, technical experts and other stakeholders will focus on turning pledges into progress across key areas including climate finance, implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), adaptation and resilience, transparency and accountability, and pathways for a just transition. Discussions will also support efforts to strengthen delivery, mobilize investment and accelerate action at the pace and scale needed.
The Subsidiary Bodies (SBs) are an integral part of the Bonn Climate Change Conference. They consist of two bodies: the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA). These bodies support the work of the UNFCCC.
