Session Description
This session will explore how countries and financiers can accelerate the flow of capital toward high-quality, climate-resilient, and just transition infrastructure. Drawing on results from the Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation (GIB)’s FAST-Infra Label and new Climate Resilient Infrastructure Guidelines, the discussion will feature examples of bankable projects that integrate resilience, social equity, and environmental performance. The session will inform the Finance and Resilience thematic priorities of the COP30 Presidential Agenda by addressing the persistent gap between sustainable project preparation and investment readiness. Target audiences include national project preparation facilities, multilateral banks, climate funds, and subnational governments seeking to mainstream quality and resilience criteria into infrastructure pipelines.
