COP26 #BuildingsPavilion
Watch the recording of the event :
Place: Buildings Pavilion - The Climate Pledge Theatre (Hall 5)
Time: 14:30 - 15:30 GMT
Background:
To limit warming to no more than 1.5°C, emissions from building globally must be halved by 2030, and reach net-zero life-cycle emissions for all buildings by no later than 2050. A new and compelling understanding of the broader value proposition of sustainable buildings is critical to achieving these goals; to increase demand, drive uptake and catalyse investment in the solutions needed. Drawing on leadership voices from climate action frontrunners, this session will launch and deliver the key messages from a new, flagship report by WorldGBC.
