Background:

With 2.5 billion more people expected to live in cities by 2050, our world is building the equivalent of New York City every month. That’s why cities are leading the way in our transition to net-zero with more than 700 of them already in the Race-To-Zero. The building sector plays an essential role in this transition, from the materials used at the construction phase, all the way to a building’s efficiency throughout its lifecycle.

  • Net zero construction solutions exist today. How can they be scaled up faster for broader adoption?
  • How can more innovation drive breakthrough impact?
  • How can the right regulatory incentives accelerate the net-zero business case?

To explore these questions and more, Holcim is opening a dialogue in Glasgow with key decision-makers. Together we can drive more green demand, innovation and incentives to build greener cities for a net-zero future.
