Description

The recently-released Global Building Resilience Guidelines provide a high-level set of principles for jurisdictions globally to consider about how to integrate climate science into building codes and build for a resilient future. The Guidelines can be seen as a tool to implement the GlobalABC "10 Principle". The event will offer an overview of the Guidelines and will provide perspective on their potential use from representatives in the Global North and the Global South, as well as discuss what additional tools or actions are needed to enable the implementation of the principles embodied in the Guidelines, especially in the Global South.
