Description

This session will explore the essential role of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources and technologies coupled with building energy codes and above code programs in achieving GHG emission reductions. Buildings are a key mechanism for deployment of distributed renewable generation. Policies that support widespread achievement of net zero energy buildings rely on access to clean energy sources. Aligning clean energy policies with building policies and programs are an important mechanism to achieve 'zero-emission, efficient, and resilient buildings and construction sector.'
