Session Desciption

Extreme heat is now a constant threat—impacting human health, economic productivity, and workplace safety. As climate innovators, business leaders, policymakers, and local communities must urgently collaborate on practical solutions to keep spaces cool, especially in vulnerable regions and sectors. This dynamic panel convenes a diverse group of experts—including private sector sustainability leaders, government representatives, and grassroots voices—to discuss actionable strategies and cross-sector partnerships for heatwave resilience in the built environment. Attendees will hear new best practices, frontline stories, and scalable approaches from the newly launched “Extreme Heat Readiness Whitepaper,” produced by Trane Technologies in partnership with Forum for the Future.
