Sector roadmaps are a critical tool providing strategic frameworks for action on decarbonisation and resilience, this session will showcase the transformative impact they are having on the built environment sector, contributing towards the goals of the COP30 Action Agenda. 

 

Session Description

This session co-organised by the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) and the Global Alliance for Buildings & Construction (GlobalABC) details the development and implementation of national decarbonisation & resilience roadmaps for the built environment sector, a crucial tool providing strategic frameworks for action, and showcases examples of solutions that are ready to be implemented at scale to achieve the goals of the COP30 Action Agenda. 

 

Target audience

National and local policymakers, climate delegates shaping country commitments, finance stakeholders including institutional investors and multilateral development banks, and built environment actors seeking actionable tools to meet climate targets.
