This session will feature a presentation on the Buildings-GSR, highlighting its key content, latest trends, and essential facts and figures. It will also include a discussion on the future direction of the report and its connections with other major publications, such as the Emissions Gap Report, International Energy Agency reports, and the Breakthrough Agenda report. Additionally, the session will cover progress in monitoring the Buildings Breakthrough Target (BBT) and the Chaillot Declaration/Policy action.

The event will conclude with closing remarks from Regina Kraushaar, German Saxon Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development.
