Together with European partners and 29 industry participants, the DGNB examined the market-readiness of the Circular Economy criteria of the EU Taxonomy on the basis of 38 projects. The result: the real estate sector is not prepared for the transformation to a circular economy like it is specified by the European Union. Building upon this, the study initiators drafted concrete recommendations, which were already submitted to the EU Commission in October 2022.
