Workshop: Circular Construction and Adequate Housing
| 11:00am - 13:00pm CET
Circular Built Environment

On Thursday, 19 March 2026, an online workshop will be hosted by the Circular Built Environment (CBE) Working Group of the GlobalABC, in collaboration with UN-Habitat. The workshop will present and discuss the draft paper “Scaling Circular Construction to Realize the Right to Adequate Housing for All: Policy Pathways,” which explores how circular construction can be scaled through coherent, enabling, and integrated policy frameworks to support the realization of the right to adequate housing.

Participants are invited to enrich the discussion by sharing concrete examples, lessons learned, and best practices from regional, national, and local contexts. Insights gathered during the workshop will contribute to the final version of the paper, which the CBE Working Group plans to launch at the World Urban Forum 13 in Baku in May 2026.

The session offers an opportunity for stakeholders to contribute to the development of a practical and action-oriented document on circular construction policy.

Topics:
