ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS
ASHRAE develops and maintains a suite of professional standards recognized globally that focus on improving the energy and sustainability performance of buildings. ASHRAE develops a wide spectrum of technical documents and design guides engineers use to make buildings more energy efficient. Many ASHRAE conferences, certification programs, and research projects focus on building sustainability. ASHRAE is aggressively pursuing building decarbonization, developing metrics for measuring and minimizing both operational and embodied carbon in buildings. |
