The China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) is a national, non-profit industry association dedicated to advancing building energy efficiency, green and low-carbon buildings, sustainable communities, building industrialisation, and green building materials in China. It serves as a bridge between government, industry, academia, and the market by conducting policy and technical research, developing industry standards, promoting best practices, providing certification and assessment services, delivering education and training, organising conferences and exhibitions, and fostering international cooperation. CABEE's expertise covers building energy efficiency, low-carbon development, green building certification, building performance evaluation, carbon emissions, sustainable urban development, and the promotion of innovative technologies and standards.
ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS
CABEE plays a leading role in supporting China's transition towards low-carbon and energy-efficient buildings by developing standards, promoting near-zero energy and zero-carbon buildings, conducting building performance assessments, and encouraging the adoption of advanced energy-saving technologies. The association also supports research, pilot projects, professional training, and international collaboration on building decarbonisation, while promoting green building materials, building energy performance, and carbon emissions data.
