MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

REE-IGEM (Réseau des Experts de la Promotion de l’Efficacité Énergétique et de l’Intégration du Genre dans l’Accès à l’Énergie au Mali) is a Malian network focused on promoting energy efficiency, energy management and gender integration in access to energy. Its main goals include contributing to improved policy, regulatory and investment frameworks for energy efficiency and sustainable energy access. Its activities include expert support, awareness-raising and mobilisation of stakeholders, knowledge-sharing, advocacy, and the development and promotion of energy-efficiency solutions.

ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS

REE-IGEM has a relevant field of expertise through its work on reducing electricity consumption, improving energy efficiency and promoting sustainable energy practices. The organisation has specifically advocated for measures to reduce peak electricity demand and has engaged with initiatives concerning energy-efficient building standards and the energy performance of building envelopes.
