Smart Green Shift (SHIFT) is a consulting firm that provides a wide range of services on the energy and environmental performance of buildings, founded two years ago in Sheffield, United Kingdom, with the vision of making accessible to all, the transition to net-zero energy/carbon, and to provide EDGE certification facilitation services globally and mainly in French-speaking countries. SHIFT works in collaboration with GBCI, to provide an One-Stop-Shop EDGE certification service to EDGE customers in the UK and Africa. We specialise in providing an expert service to meet our client project needs and to help them achieving net zero carbon building through EDGE, the first green building design and certification system of its kind in the world.

Smart Green Shift Ltd helps developers and architects accelerate net-zero carbon homes and buildings design timelines by up to 50%, by using EDGE to quickly identify the most cost-effective ways to reduce energy and water use and to find the balance between cutting carbon emissions and utilising renewable energy and/or carbon offsetting.
