On 11 December 2019, the 2019 edition of the Global Status Report for Buildings and Construction was launched during a press conference event at COP25, in Madrid.

The 2019 Global Status Report for Buildings and Construction tracks whether this  critical is in line to meet the Paris Agreement Goals. It report provides examples of country, city, private sector driven actions that show the importance of the buildings and construction sector engaging, worldwide, towards a zero emission, efficient and resilient buildings .
