The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) is delighted to announce the addition of 16 new members, further strengthening its diverse network of governments, research institutions, civil society organizations, and private sector leaders. Together, these members bring fresh expertise and momentum to our mission of achieving a zero-emission, resilient, and inclusive built environment by 2030.
This expansion includes the Ministry for Public Works, Meteorological Services & Transport (Government of Fiji) joining the Intergovernmental Council for Buildings and Climate (ICBC) under the Chaillot Declaration, alongside innovative organizations from Canada, the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
With these additions, GlobalABC now counts 397 members, including 71 countries.

Expanding the GlobalABC Network
With these 16 new members, GlobalABC’s network of 397 members, including 71 countries, brings together governments, accessibility experts, youth networks, academics, nonprofits, and businesses. This broad coalition ensures that solutions for a sustainable future are inclusive, practical, and globally representative.
