MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

The Climate Heritage Network (CHN), set up in 2018, is a voluntary, mutual support network of arts, culture and heritage organisations committed to aiding their communities in tackling climate change and achieving the ambitions of the Paris Agreement. It brings together wide-ranging specialist expertise around climate change and the historic built environment in its broadest sense, from building technology to landscapes and culture.

ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS

The CHN is composed of organisations and individuals who share a common belief that the cultural dimensions of climate change are crucial to effective mitigation and adaptation. As well as bringing together knowledge from the deep history of the built environment, the CHN promotes culture-based climate action, and mobilises arts, culture and heritage to help communities achieve the ambitions of the Paris Agreement. We have five global regions, eight working groups, and eleven leading issues around climate policy making.
