An EPD is a voluntary tool to communicate the environmental impact of goods and services in a life cycle perspective in a comparable and credible way.
The International EPD® System is an independent global EPD programme for the publication of type III environmental product declarations (EPD) that is owned and operated by EPD International AB. The program is operated in accordance with a.o. ISO 14025, ISO/TS14027, ISO 14040, ISO 14044 and ISO/TS14067.
We are accredited by ANSI/ANAB as a certified body from 2021 for all product categories.
For construction products, the EPD programme is also aligned with the European standard EN 15804 and ISO 21930.
