Shade Academy has the goal to, at low cost, provide pragmatic and easy-to-implement knowledge and tools on how Architects, Consultants, Builders, Developers, Facility Managers, etc. can use dynamic solar shading (passive solution) making the global building stock more energy efficient and manage over-heating problems, but also adding facade insulation during cold periods. All with the result of more resilient and healthy indoor environments and fewer requirements of final energy supply. Shade Academy's educational program will show how it works and clarify the significant potential of Adaptive Daylight Management.
