We can harness the expertise of our members and combine it with our organizational experience to inform programs and initiatives. Passive House Canada has expressed interest to participate int he following GlobalABC Work Areas: Education and Awareness; Public Policies; Market Transformation; Finance; Building measurement, data and information.

ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS

Energy/climate/buildings-related activities: They support cities, provinces and the Canadian government in implementing their programs and policies to improve building performance and accelerate market transformation and are happy to share experiences in the implementation of those programs and policies. The rate of market transformation in some markets has been remarkable, and is a pattern that can be repeated in other markets. Both their members and their organization are involved in a variety of projects to monitor and verify building performance, and to improve industry’s capacity to eliminate the gap in performance between modelled performance and actual performance. Other GlobalABC members are welcome to reach out to Passive House Canada for data from such projects.
