MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES
As a public institution we represent and promote the general interests of the construction industry; to provide services to carry out projects, construction designs, supervision, as well as to make representations to public and private authorities for the benefit of its members and the general interests of the industry; to be an organ of consultation and collaboration for the State, to promote and encourage the construction of all types of infrastructure, housing, as well as tourist or commercial developments, to grant and promote the training of workers and management, technical and administrative personnel who work in the construction industry; To collaborate with federal, state, municipal authorities and public or private organizations, in activities of social benefit that directly or indirectly are related to the construction industry; to collaborate with all types of federal, state, municipal authorities and public and private organizations in the realization of activities of social benefit that directly or indirectly impact the industry, which is contemplated in article 4 of its governing bylaws.
ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS
- Implement the chamber's environmental policy, CMIC Green Office.
- Promote the transversality of the environment with the chamber's topics.
- Advice and compliance in environmental law enforcement processes.
- Incorporate the issue of climate change in natural disaster prevention actions.
- Promote the rational use of construction materials.
- Promote proper waste management
- Analysis and dissemination of the application of environmental policy and regulations.
