AECOM is focused on supporting clients and construction partners to decarbonize. Our ScopeX approach to solving for carbon targets a 50% carbon reduction for major planning, design, construction, operational and maintenance projects.
Our team of global decarbonization and sustainability experts regularly speaks at leading industry conferences and events such as Climate Week NYC, COP London Climate Action Week, London Build and the World Economic Forum and publishes thought leadership articles on topics such as City-level decarbonization, campus level decarbonization, tools and metrics for airport decarbonization and case studies. AECOM has also partnered with the Sustainable Markets Initiative to develop a Nature Based Risk Tool, as part of building a coordinated global effort to enable the private sector to accelerate the achievement of global climate, biodiversity and Sustainable Development Goal targets.
