MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

The Tunisia Green Building Council (TunisiaGBC) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to accelerating the transition towards sustainable, resilient, and resource-efficient buildings and communities in Tunisia. As a member of the World Green Building Council network, it works with government, academia, industry, and civil society to promote sustainable construction through education, advocacy, technical guidance, policy engagement, professional training, certification support, and knowledge sharing. Its fields of expertise include green buildings, sustainable construction, building energy efficiency, circular economy, climate resilience, building certification, and sustainable urban development.

ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS

TunisiaGBC actively supports the decarbonisation of the built environment by promoting energy-efficient and low-carbon building design, encouraging the adoption of international green building certification systems such as LEED and BREEAM, and advocating for national policies that advance sustainable construction.
