MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES
GGGI has country offices in over 30 member countries across several regions and is actively pursuing low-carbon, inclusive and sustainable development pathways, in partnership with our host governments. One of the key areas that GGGI provides support to governments is in sustainable urbanization, of which green buildings and construction is a key element. We work with governments and local stakeholders on policy development and implementation, capacity development for government, academia and industry and promote access to finance.
ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS
GGGI is keen to contribute to global efforts in reducing GHG emissions and solid waste from the building sector, to promote green buildings which work for societies and the environment.
