The GlobalABC Steering Committee (SC) has convened in person on 21, 22 & 23 June 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland for the first time since 2019. The SC meeting was held in a hybrid format, including in-person and online participants. The objective was to discuss and take follow-up actions to the 5-year review of the GlobalABC and set objectives and milestones for the next 2-3 years based on the theory of change, results framework, including a strategic review of Work Areas focus and country engagement approach.

This 3-day meeting was marked by a very constructive and collaborative spirit by all SC members. Many excellent, creative, and concrete ideas emerged to take GlobalABC to the next level. In the end, members shared impressions emphasizing feeling hopeful, energized and excited. The GlobalABC Secretariat would like to warmly thank all members for participating so actively as well as the great facilitator, with very special thanks to France and to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development team for hosting this meeting, arranging the facilities, the facilitator Caroline Phily, and the dinners.
