MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

The Ukrainian State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving is the central state executive authority implementing state policy in the areas of energy efficiency, energy saving, renewable energy sources and alternative types of fuel. Its main goals are: Implementing state policy in energy resource use efficiency, energy saving, renewable energy sources and alternative types of fuel; ensuring growth of renewable energy share and alternative fuels share in energy balance of Ukraine; providing administrative services in areas of responsibility; submitting to the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities proposals on development of state policy in areas of responsibility. It is managing state support programs in energy efficiency measures in buildings which foresees partial compensation of loans for energy efficient equipment and materials; promoting renewable energy developments, including application of renewable energy in residential and public buildings; developing energy efficiency legislation, norms and standards. and raising public awareness including undertaking information campaigns.
