Description
The closing session will summarise the highlights of the earlier three thematic sessions on finance, resilience and decarbonisation, the representation of the built environment as a critical sector to achieve the needed transition to a resilient and zero emissions future, and the examples of action and implementation demonstrated throughout COP 27.
The session will take a fire-side chat format, celebrating the progress of the sector and serving as a reminder of the work that still needs to happen, outlining the necessary steps to take before COP28, 2025, and beyond.
Curated by the core partners of the BuildingToCOP coalition, this session will present a united voice from the sector, sharing the willingness and readiness for more enhanced regulations and wider action, as a sector with solutions for both adaptation and mitigation agendas.
The session will be followed by a reception offered by the BuildingToCOP Coalition.
